Damay-damay na’to! CJ Sereno drags other SC Justices into the SALN issue
In her official statement against the quo warranto petition recently filed by Solicitor general Jose Calida, the Chief Justice’s major argument asserts that SALN submission to the Judicial Bar and Council (JBC) is not an “absolute requirement” for those vying for the highest magisterial position.
Additionally, Sereno asserted that among the candidates shortlisted by the JBC for the chief justice post, she was not the only one with incomplete SALN declarations. This deficiency according to Sereno did not stop the JBC from ruling out that the candidates have “substantially complied” with the documentary requirements.
In her 130-page response, Sereno has called out names of her fellow magistrates which according to her also had lacking SALN declarations but still were shortlisted by the JBC as official candidates for the Chief Justice position. They were: Acting Chief Justice Antonio Carpio, Associate Justice Teresita Leonardo-De Castro, and retired Justices Arturo Brion and Roberto Abad.
In addition, Sereno took into account a total of 14 out of 20 candidates for the Chief justice post in 2012, to have failed in submitting complete SALNs.
"Nevertheless, they were reconsidered to have 'substantially complied' with the SALN requirement, and hence were interviewed for the position," Sereno claimed.
"Moreover, the mere failure to submit SALNs to the JBC would not automatically have disqualified an applicant, especially if she could explain the reason for the non-submission," she added.
Sereno, still on her elaborate response to Calida’s petition, has cited that over 300 candidates for any judicial posts have been shortlisted by the JBC albeit absence of deficiency in the required documents especially SALN declarations.
Currently, the Chief Justice is on an indefinite leave in preparation for her senate impeachment trial. It is during this senate-sponsored investigation that Sereno intends to provide her disputed SALNs which she failed to submit prior to her appointment as chief justice of the Supreme Court.
Recently the House Committee on Justice, with 33-1 vote, has finalized the articles for Sereno’s impeachment which will then be forwarded to the Senate for perusal and in-depth investigation.

Former US Presidential candidate: ICC financed by someone “more Nazi than the Nazis”
It seems President Rodrigo Duterte had acted in good faith of the Filipinos when he withdrew the country’s membership from the International Criminal Court (ICC) as an article on Larouche Pac written by Lyndon LaRouche, an American political activist and a Presidential candidate from 1976 to 2004 reveals the possible downsides to the ICC, one more adverse than if Philippines remained a part of it.
In the article of Larouche Pac, it discussed that the whole ICC is financed by George Soros, Lord Mark Malloch-Nrown, and Mutt and Jeff Bobsey twins.
Soros is controversial for being “more Nazi than the Nazi”, his early background reveals him to be highly deceptive having taken a non-Jewish identity to evade persecution, retained a Nazi bodyguard, and looted through bribes and threats the poor Jewish Hungarians who were fearful of the Nazis that time.
This continued on until the ICC became nothing more than just “an instrument of British Imperialism” that exploits on those who cannot hold up their economic conditions.
In the Larouche article, it detailed how the ICC was specifically designed by the British Empire to keep in unanswerable to anyone whilst being funded by the notorious Soros through his charities and organization.
The ICC explicitly reveals that it is not a member of the United Nations or of its system, rather, it fall more adequately under the Coalition for an International Criminal Court (CICC) which is also created by Soros and the British Empire.
Within this seeminlgy futile state within the ICC, it seems only wise that Duterte pulls himself out of the equation and save the Philippines the mess of having to deal with frugal and selective foreigners.

As the ICC continues to pursue imperialism in whatever falsely humanitarian or sincere way, the Larouch article seeks to call upon better immunity from the government in order for it to focus on the dangerous and emergency tasks beforehand.

Parohinog Ledger Says the Family Donated ₱26-M to Roxas-Robredo Campaign
One of the ledgers recovered by Ozamis City police during the raid that killed Mayor Reynaldo Parohinog and twelve other people, says that the Parohinog family has donated at least ₱26 million in the campaign of former Interior Secretary mar Roxas, and his running mate, Vice President Maria Leonor Robredo.
P/Supt Ernesto Macabebe, Ozamis City acting Police Chief said that the ledger was inspected by forensic experts and found out that since August 2015, Reynaldo Parohinog had started donating to the Roxas campaign.
“Makikita naman po natin ano. Na starting August 2015 pa, nagsimula nang magdonate itong si Reynaldo Parohinog sa sa Liberal party, especially sa campaign ni Mar Roxas”, Macabebe told local reporters while holding the ledger on Tuesday.
The police officer added that the late mayor used MR-LR codes specifically referring to Mar Roxas and Leni Robredo in several pages of his ledger.
From August 2015 until April 2016, Parohinog deposited at least 17 times to Liberal Party’s bank accounts as stated in his ledger.
Reynaldo Parohinog, his wife and brother along nine others were killed in simultaneous raids of their houses in the early hours on July 30, 2017.
Vice Mayor Nova Princess Parojinog, the couple’s daughter, was also arrested and brought to the Ozamiz City police station.
Police said they found several kilos of shabu and guns from the six houses of the Parojinogs that were subject of the search.
Macabebe added that there are another twelve personalities listed on the ledger who received money from Parohinog as well. He said that they already identified the five and will reveal the names in proper time.
It is not clear how the revelation affects Robredo, but Macabebe said they are just doing their job to uncover the mystery behind Parohinog’s power and influence. /Joy Valle/
